Three Sisters

This painting was on by Jody Strickler in the Open Studio Show and Sale on July 17th, 2008!

This year's day lilies have been exceptional. These are the most gorgeous large dark yellow I think I have ever seen. These three blooms were all on the same stalk thus the title. Think Marlon Brando ripping his shirt in the rain, screaming. Come on, you remember "A Streetcar Called Desire" one of the great black and white movies. Shades of Cold

Cold Beer! Well, cold Pale Ale, Lager and Stout! This is three of many shades of beer, thus the title. Entangled Sweethearts

I have now completely fallen in love with roses. It is what I look at everytime I go to Lowe's, no longer the newest tools. These came fron the Great Big Greenhouse and are now blooming happily along the side of the house. The title comes from the varity of rose and the blooms being overlapped by the leaves.
