The title comes from the blue fabric around the model (they often use their own robes to keep themselves clean). It reminded me of a choppy sea with the model being the figure head on a ship. I once carved a figure head out of foam for a production of Peter Pan that I designed, this reminded me of that figure (minus the sea shells covering her breasts and the fish tail). This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net. Poppy
Poppy was the name that my niece, Kelsee Rohrer, gave my father Paul Leach. Kelsee is graduating this Friday from High School and my father graduated from this life on January 25th this year. This painting was done in his honor and will be given to Kelsee for her graduation. Well done to both of you. Normally, this would be one of the "Painting a Day Series" and would be available for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net, but not this time. Everything else on this blog is available except for those that have been sold. Check out www.greigleach.com. And thanks for looking. Greig

Waiting
The last drawing group we ended up with no model, nothing for it but to take turns sitting for short poses. It is great to get the opportunity to study the way fabric falls across the body. This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net . Enjoy my full scale works at www.greigleach.com . Thank you for looking and hopefully, buying. Greig

Evening Cuppa'
While I can't have the caffine anymore, I still enjoy the aroma and the visual of a good cup of black coffee (well in paint it is blue coffee). With me cool colors equal evening and warm colors equal morning. This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net. Full scale works are available at www.greigleach.com as well as more information. Thanks for taking the time to look at my artwork. Greig

Shooting a Round
I enjoy multiple title and/or image interpretations, so this could go any number of ways, but ultimately it is a round of shooters (lemon drops to be exact). This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and this too can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net. Be sure to check out http://www.greigleach.com/ .
This painting is now sold.

Divine
Puns again, this is da' vine. Sorry but my love of the Wysteria growing on the south wall of my studio in bloom is truly divine. This is the second of the paintings I was able to get done before the blossoms passed this year. I think I enjoy this plant so much because it wouldn't grow in DC where I grew up. Just a hundred miles south and this beautiful vine grows wild. This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comcast.net As always you can learn more at http://www.greigleach.com/ and thank you for interest in my art (or is it just the garden?) Let Them Eat Chocolate
You all remember Marie Antoinette's famous saying, here it has been slightly paraphrased. Not that I am a big fan of chocolate ( a sacrilege I know), but it is fun to paint in blue. This is another in the "Painting a Day Series" and can be yours for $95.00 by emailing me first at greigsart@comast.net . You can learn more about my artwork at www.greigleach.com and thank you for taking the time to look at my art.
